Lovely, that's how I started my day too. I found something interesting to sweeten it with: date concentrate! It's delicious if you can find it. That and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Happy Friday
I'm about to make oatmeal in a pan that looks remarkably similar to yours. I'll add dried cherries and almonds. I don't have any maple syrup, but wish I did. Honey or brown sugar will have to do.
You made me smile this morning, Tracy. :-) Oatmeal in stainless steel pan is how I cook mine too. I do love porridge on winter mornings, especially with butter and brown sugar or maple syrup.
