  4. Wow, when you make pesto, you really make pesto. I don't make nearly that much at once!

    Someday, when I have room for a big garden (and not just one basil plant eat summer, plus however many bunches I can buy at the market given the dent that tomatoes put in my market budget this time of year), I'll probably be filling my freezer with pesto.

  5. Picking the basil, plucking the leaves, cleaning the leaves, drying the leaves--whew! But 96 cubes in the dead of winter makes it well worth the effort.
