A Thought for Monday

IMG_4741

Weekend obligations have left me feeling weary and almost grateful for Monday.

Monday. Its dreariness cushioned by a humming refrigerator and lemon water.

The silence of routine can sometimes be the greatest of comforts.

  1. Obligations, sigh, I am not a fan. Enjoy your routine.

I want to stir the colors of this yarn into some vanilla ice cream.

    2. Tracy, Denise: I relate to you both... obligations: yuk! but they are hard to escape... I do like how quiet the house is on Mondays, and that solitary (but far from lonely) break at 11 am toast with tea

    3. I treated myself to a new book today but would have been just as happy with a toast with tea break. Toast with tea...tomorrow, perhaps.

    4. Oh let me know what book it is...looking for one right now (just finishes "Toast" and longing for something like it)

  2. I understand what you mean - when you work at home, Monday routines are often a relief! Lemon water sounds good :)

    1. I am a creature of habit. Sometimes I think too many habits. But I do like the comfort that comes with my collection.
