Brava. Have you asked the teacher to give you a lesson on ordering aperitivi, full roman dinners and almond biscuits? Also how to ask for directions to the best/ nearest pizzeria /gelateria / fooderia. It will come in very useful.
...I can kind of understand that after looking at it for a few minutes. My paltry Italian hasn't gone away (completely)! Assuming you're going to Italy soon, make sure to get yourself to a market and buy yourself some yarn--it will be exquisite and not terribly expensive and with your lessons, you can even haggle them down a euro or two.
