Rain in Rapallo
It started to rain while we ate, but luckily had our Venice umbrellas. They are cheap but manage to keep our heads dry if it is just a small sprinkle.
To extend our meal we popped into a small pasticceria were we ate some small cookies with jam and powdered sugar along with espresso.
We got back to the room just in time for the rain. Naps for both and then some quick dinner research. We're hoping to be pleasantly surprised at Bella Napoli—we hope.
Then a quick picnic on the hotel bed of the remaining peanut butter crackers and almonds from home. Some of the fruit puree juice and strawberries from il supermercato.
We ended up going to a rather nice but pricey restaurant for dinner. We came in, perched in a corner, and most likely overstayed our welcome for almost 3 hours.
