Yearning...
Forgetting.
Contemplating.
There is a heavy sigh and dirt beneath my nails.
The damp earth cakes onto my fingers as the warm winds of early spring weave between the tangled bones of last years annuals.
Yearning.
Forgetting...
Contemplating.
In 20 minutes time I will have wiped the slate clean.
Yearning.
Forgetting.
Contemplating...
I walked back inside. Sat down. And continued with my work.

ReplyDeletesuch lovely tulips in the first shot, and I love the textures of the linens in the others.
I think I just stumbled into a dream...
ReplyDeleteI have the same tea towels :) And - too often! - the sense of a comment perhaps misplaced. Hope the tulips and the satisfaction of dirt in fingernails helps balance your day.
ReplyDeleteAh...sometimes time spent in the garden is the best salve of all.
ReplyDeleteThose towels look like they were line dried. Do you have an outdoor line? I "line dry" but in the apartment, just because it reminds me of living in the country once upon a time.
