  1. I cannot wait for local strawberries! Berries with a little mint, lemon juice and zest makes the best fruit salad, either to go on top of something or just on its own.

  9. I have a post card of a painting of strawberries in the kitchen and your second picture reminds me of it. Simple is best, especialy if the berries are sweet and full of flavour. I saw some tiny wild strawberies from Nemi at the market a couple of days ago but they are silly expensive. I am planning some jam once we have stuffed our faces silly with fresh ones. Your photos get better and better
