Peas! They've been on my mind lately, and I just picked up a bag of frozen ones. I'm going to eat them with butter and salt.
I can't wait until the Pea Lady is back at the market. I'm going to have to clear out the freezer so that I can load up on the goods.
Jess - I love the simplicity of butter and salt.Wendi - We've never waited in line for peas at the market. Maybe we'll give it a try this year (have to get there early) :)
It certainly looks as if Spring has sprung in Baltimore!
They just scream "SPRING" don't they?::sigh:: Tom Colicchio advocates the combo of peas, lobster and pasta (fresh, of course)--perhaps this is the spring to try it.
Michele – The frozen variety :)elizabeth - That sounds amazing. I can't wait to see YOU post about it :)
I'm devoted to peas. Fresh, uncooked and straight from the pod; frozen with pepper and butter; in risotto, on their own, any which way. Lovely shots, and lovely meal.
The Spring light in your home is great.
