I Need to Take a Picture

It was beautiful. The glistening slivers of hot pepper. The freckle of black pepper. Ribbons of parsley, dwarfed by a nest of fettuccine.


I need to take a picture.


It was then that I felt myself—and now, writing this.

  6. That pasta looks homemade. I wonder how many minutes it remained on the plate. I would have wolfed it down. It looks perfectly wonderful. Keep at it! We want to see more.
